demeeshia marshall / singer / speaker / 

DeMeeshia W. Marshall was born and raised in Columbus Ohio. She has been singing and performing since age five. DeMeeshia graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Music performance at Ohio State University in May 2017 where she studied and mastered her skill in classical opera music. 

During her college years and after, DeMeeshia began to travel with education outreach program Opera Columbus where she played the lead role of Cinderella. Opera Columbus also hired DeMeeshia to be apart of the production Opera Swings Jazz in April 2019, where she was a lead performer alongside legendary saxophone player Byron Stripling and The Columbus Jazz Orchestra. DeMeeshia also toured with The Voice of Freedom production from October through December 2018, where she renewed her tour for another four months the following year.

DeMeeshia is blessed to be able to expand her gift in various genres including: Jazz, gospel, musical theatre, R&B,  Neo Soul and countless other forms of vocal styles. DeMeeshia has performed live on TV stations such as The Word Network located in Detroit, Michigan which has given her the opportunity to sing background with many artist as well. 

In 2016, DeMeeshia  was crowned the “Voice of Columbus” and featured on NBC4 news where she performed live at the Southern Theatre in Columbus,Ohio with Harmony Project, a 200 voice choir and a full orchestra. Thereafter, DeMeeshia secured numerous shows including weddings, party celebrations, banquets, corporate events, luncheons and more.  In recent years, she has expanded her entertainment lineup to include an all-female band where she performs as lead vocalist.

DeMeeshia does not take her skill lightly. Her goal is to capture the audience with her melodic tones and sounds, hopefully portraying  the emotion of the music and satisfying the audience. DeMeeshia is a passionate and energetic performer, a confident artist, and whole-heartedly loves what she does. The sky is the limit, so she takes pride in pushing herself to do more and never limits the skill with which God has graciously blessed her.
